As a graduate from Brock University in St. Catherine’s, Ontario in 1995, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. It was my original desire to be a teacher, however I found myself gravitating toward athlete care. In 1993, I became the head student athletic therapist for the Brock Badger’s Men’s Lacrosse team. That interest alongside the fascination of the human body, lead me to Massage Therapy. I graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto in 1999. I quickly found my way into professional sports where I worked with players of the Toronto Argonauts for two seasons, before moving to Kelowna in 2000. I then built my practice in a busy chiropractic clinic. I had the experience of treating a large demographic of clients from NHL hockey players, to children, to seniors in their 90’s.
Being a lifelong athlete myself, in 2003, I became the first professional athlete in Figures Bodybuilding in Canada. I balanced both careers for several years. Since, I became a firefighter in 2013 and owned a successful business at Big White. In 2019, I retired from the BWFD and sold my business to focus on building my Massage Therapy practice. When I received the opportunity to be able to work in my own community, I was elated. I look forward to being able to provide our community with my knowledge and experience.
