As an experienced health professional, I put your health and healing needs first. I am proud to provide a high quality level of client service, practice experience, and commitment to health and wellness to all of my clients. My goal is to help you feel better as quickly as possible to assist you in living your best life.
Massage therapy falls under The Health Professions Act along with doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, dentists, psychologists, to name a few. This act is designed to enable patients to have confidence in receiving care from regulated practitioners. All of these professions have regulatory colleges. This is to protect the public by setting standards of practice and code of ethics their registrants must follow to avoid disciplinary action.
Massage therapists receive a high level of education and practicum hours before writing admissions exams. They learn specific techniques to be used for specific conditions and circumstances. You can be assured that your RMT is qualified to assess, consider your condition and provide a treatment plan, including home care. Your safety and comfort are first and foremost.
